1、 Design Phase of Metal Storage Rack
✅Requirement analysis
Clarify the basic parameters such as warehouse storage rack usage, load-bearing requirements (such as single-layer load), and storage space dimensions.
✅Material selection
Choose steel (mainly Q235 cold-rolled steel), aluminum, or special alloys according to the demand, matching strength and cost.
✅Structural Design
Complete the drawings of core components such as beams and columns through CAD software, and verify the force distribution and stability.
2、 Processing and Forming of Metal Storage Rack
✅Raw material cutting
Use equipment such as shearing machines and band saws to cut the board according to the design dimensions, with a tolerance controlled within ± 0.5mm.
✅Punching/bending
Adapt the punching machine to the mold, complete the stamping of column holes (such as diamond holes and eight-shaped holes), and the bending and forming of crossbeams.
✅Welding assembly
Use CO₂ gas shielded welding or argon arc welding to connect components, with a focus on monitoring the quality of the weld seam (no porosity, cracks).
3、 Surface Treatment of Metal Storage Rack
✅ Pre-processing
Remove metal surface oxides through acid washing (using the sulfuric acid solution), and enhance the rust prevention ability through phosphating treatment.
✅Spray coating process
Electrostatic spraying (epoxy polyester powder) or electroplating, with a coating thickness of 60-80 μm, must pass a salt spray test for ≥ 500 hours.
4、 Assembly and Quality Inspection of Metal Storage Rack
✅Component assembly
Connect the crossbeam and column with bolts, and fix them with snap-on safety pins to ensure that the overall structural verticality deviation is less than 2mm/m1.
✅Load testing
Simulate actual working conditions for full load (such as 2 tons/layer) pressure test, with no plastic deformation for 24 hours.
5、 Packaging and Transportation
✅Protective packaging
PE film shall be used for winding, and moisture-proof, foam corner protectors shall be installed at the corners, and palletized boxes shall be used to reduce transport abrasion.
✅Equipment matching
It is necessary to match a three-way stacking forklift (channel width ≥ 1.6m) or an automatic guided vehicle (AGV) to achieve efficient access.
